The divine wonder of YOU: a simple teaching from non-dual tantra

You are an individual manifestation and perfect expression of the one Divine Consciousness. You are not separate from it. You have an individual body, mind, thoughts, memories and so on, but at the same time these are all part of the one Consciousness, from which everything arises and in which everything is contained.

There is no duality in this. This is the darshana (view) of classical tantra. There is no need to seek union, because you already are a perfect union of pure Awareness (Shiva) and Energy (Shakti) joining together to create YOU.

Consciousness creates life, and creates YOU as a form through which to experience this life. It has created a form through which it can know itself.

Contemplate how profound that is. A form through which it may know itself. Isn’t this wonderful?! You ARE Consciousness, manifested on this planet in your unique and individual form to experience all the other wonders that Consciousness and Shakti have created! Plus, ultimately, to experience Consciousness itself – which already IS you!
